As a teenager my whole wardrobe was Primark. Before Primark stores started opening in every town I would travel to Bromley (40 minute train journey FYI) just to shop at Primark. I was so excited to get the best bargains and latest fashions that I even went to the Marble Arch opening, which at the time was one of the biggest I’d visited.
So basically what I am trying to point out, I was Primark obsessed – I would dress head to toe in Primark and years later my obsession still hasn’t changed. That’s why I am so excited to be styling Primark’s latest range of band tees on Studded Kisses.
I’ve always been a huge band tee fan, I own so many. Although band tees have always been a wardrobe staple the must-have fashion item has made a comeback this season. Every where you look stores are selling the tees, it’s a huge street style trend, and now band tees are even being spotted on the re carpet. As they are always on trend, Primark has launched a wonderful new range of band tees priced from just £8.
Band tees are so easy to wear, they can be thrown on with a pair of jeans for a laid back look or styled with more dressier outfits to add that extra bit of edge to a dressy outfit.
Here I’m showing how you can add a band tee to any look. I’ve styled this Pink Floyd tee with a girly outfit, making sure that I add my signature pink to the outfit (but Primark also sell a lovely baby pink Pink Floyd t-shirt!).
You can style a band tee with almost everything, jeans, leggings, faux leather trousers, skirts and as I’ve shown here – even a pleated midi skirt. I’ve gone for the total opposite to how a band tee is usually styled or how it is expected you should style it, to create a totally original look. It also adds a spark of elegance and sophistication to the tee.

I recently popped by Primark Hammersmith which has an incredible beauty section. If you haven’t tried out Primark’s beauty products then you are really missing out. I felt like I’d walked into a mini Sephora, Primark literally sells any beauty product you could want!
Primark also sent me their Velvet Matte Lipstick Crayon (£2) in red, which I am wearing in this photos. I’m a huge lipstick fan so own a large selection from Chanel to Nars to NYX and now, Primark. I am SO impressed with this £2 lipstick crayon that I went and bought more! I can honestly say that this lipstick crayon is as good as my Nars lipsticks. It’s creamy and matte but not at all drying and it has great staying power, even after eating – plus it is £2!!!! If you ever lose it there’s no need to cry over its loss as you can just pop to Primark and buy another without breaking the bank.
You can view their beauty products here. I’ve got my eye on liquid lipstick and liner and Bronze shimmer oil. (Oh and by the way, I highly recommend their moisturising skin oil which is an incredible BioOil dupe.)
The second Primark band tee I styled was this grey faded Ramones t-shirt, again priced from £8. I love that Primark allows us to be on trend whatever your budget and their clothes, including these t-shirts, are such high quality products too. This tee has a faded distressed look and is embellished with small silver studs – my favourite, hence the blog name.
As I like to add my signature colour (and unique style) to each outfit I paired the t-shirt with these pink culottes which are from Zara but Primark sell a very similar pair at the moment.
