I visited Bluebird Chelsea to check out its £2M refurbishment
Most people have heard of Bluebird Chelsea. I’ve never watched an episode of Made in Chelsea but even I know about the glamorous haunt down the Kings Road.
Bluebird has actually been around for over 20 years now however has recently re-launched following its £2million refurb. So I stopped by to sample their cocktails and bar food as well as have a nosey at the new stylish interiors.
The exterior remains the same but inside the decor is vibrant with splashes of colour all around with its red and blue patterned seats and slick blue leather chairs. It’s cosy but pretty and glamorous with it’s sparkling lights, plush decor and trees bursting through the floor. Also most importantly in 2016, it is ‘Instagramable’.
We started the night with a deliciously refreshing lychee and rose martini. This is a light and delicate blend of gin, vodka, lychee liqueur, lychee and lemon juice and rose syrup.
We then joined Mixologist Egzon Kastrati for a cocktail masterclass where we made our own Chelsea Flower cocktails made with gin, pomegranate liqueur, apple juice and fresh raspberries.

So I tried my hand at making my own cocktail with the help of Egzon, and it tasted pretty damn good!
Our finished Chelsea Flower cocktails!
We chowed down on fantastic flavoursome sharing dishes including Fried baby squid, Crispy tiger prawns and 24 month prosciuttio with fresh figs. All washed down with more cocktails.
Thank you Bluebird for a great night!
