How to style Christmas party outfits from day to night in collaboration with Debenhams.
Transitioning outfits from day to night is a major part of my lifestyle. Living outside of London, working full time and attending press events after work means I am constantly running around. I try to wear things I can easily style for the evening but an outfit that also looks suitable for work meetings.
The festive party season is coming up and I am so excited – my first is this week at Bodo’s Schloss!
So together with Debenhams I am showing you how I will be styling my Christmas party look from day to night.
For the day I keep my make up simple: foundation, blush, mascara and if I am wearing lipstick I go for nude shades.
I walk a lot so I usually wear flats but I am in love with my Topshop sock boots at the moment so I wear them with everything. I have lasted in these from early morning starts to the evening comfortably.
This Michelle Keegan Lipsy dress is pretty versatile and can be easily worn casually during the day. Here I’ve toned down the daytime look with the yellow suede jacket and ‘worn out’ looking boots. The plunge neckline isn’t too much either so this makes it suitable for a classy daytime look.
From day to night
For the evening I usually add a bit of bronzer, eyeliner and lipstick. I am a huge lipstick fan and for the winter I have been experimenting with darker vampy shades. Here I am wearing Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in Shame and another brand that I recommend for berry coloured lipsticks is Kiko Milano.
A little black dress is perfect for accessorising as you don’t have to worry about clashing colours or patterns. I’ve gone for a bold lipstick with a metallic style clutch from Miss Selfridge.
