For those that don’t know Paradis, it’s a neighbourhood in Bergen where I had the pleasure of visiting last month.
Duster Coat – Boohoo
Dress – Forever 21
Boots – Topshop
Carrying just hand luggage for my weekend away to Norway I had to pack light and also suitably for the weather conditions. Bergen experiences a lot of rainfall in all seasons as the city is surrounded by mountains. On average there is 230 days of rain per year, so I made sure I brought my umbrella. A light duster coat and knee high boots were perfect for the rainy but humid August weather.
I bought these boots a few weeks ago from the A/W 2015 collection at Topshop. These are my third pair of knee high boots but by far my favourite. They are SO comfortable, literally only pair of shoes I own which I can wear 24/7 without any pain and they stay up the longest. It’s a relief, I’m so done with constantly pulling up every other step (who has ever worn knee high boots understands my pain!!).
I’ve had this jacket three weeks and I have worn it every day since and even ordered another in a similar style from asos. This autumn I plan to fill my wardrobe with plenty of duster coats. The length and 3/4 length sleeves can add a lot of elegance to an outfit and duster coats can also look expensive without the mega price tag (this jacket is £22 on Boohoo).
As my outfit was quite dark and my make up subtle I thought it was appropriate to add a pop of colour with my new favourite lipstick – Bourjois Rouge Edition in Pink Pong.
Thank you Camilla for taking my photos!
