Dress – c/o Jones + Jones
Shoes – Public Desire
A few weeks ago I attended Pure London to visit Jones + Jones and I got to spend the day in their beautiful Vivienne Black Burnout Dress. The dress fits perfectly with high neck bodice and fitted waist. The detailing is perfect with a beautiful V style cut out.
Jones + Jones is based in North London and has an in-house design team. Their design are inspired by 40’s design and classic styling of the 50’s. Each garment is manufactured here in London, as they are very strong believers of ethical fashion and local production. By keeping production in London they also reduce their carbon footprint by using less shipping and transportation.
Jones + Jones creates edgy but feminine pieces, which is exactly my style. Everything is so well made, I love the petticoat under this dress. Jones + Jones sell a variety of dresses so if a full flare skirted dress isn’t your style, check out their website for their other beautiful designs.
At Pure London I got to see a bit more of their new Autumn Winter collection, some of which is now already online here.
Jones + Jones continue to create their signature special occasion full flare dresses in a variety of designs but have also added a few new styles to their collection. New items include coordinates, jumpsuits, playsuits and shift dresses, there is an outfit for every kind of occasion on their website.
I’ll be showing a bit more of their new collection on here shortly so keep checking back.
Pure London is the UK’s premier fashion event. It is a fashion tradeshow which allows buyers to discover new products and brands. It’s an inspiring environment full of my favourite things, clothes, shoes, accessories and bubbly!
The trade show was held at Olympia, the photograph below does not convey how large the exhibition was. This wasn’t even half of it!
We had a fantastic (but tiring!) time looking around. It was fantastic to see the new collections from some of my other favourite brands including Lavish Alice, Glamorous, Collectif and Beyond Retro. It really inspired us and had us leaving wanting to set up our own online clothing store.
All that browsing clothes, footwear and accessories is thirsty work so we had to take a champagne break of course.
Thank you for the invite Jones + Jones!
