I’ve never been too big of a fan of wearing pink. I’m a girly girl but sometimes I feel it can make me look too young or too Elle Woods. But in recent trends pink has been given a new sophisticated make over, it’s not just for Wednesdays or Mean Girls anymore.
There is the right shade of pink to suit every skin tone. I went for hot pink as I’m so pale a salmon pink would wash me out. Pink is a powerful colour so it’s best to wear it with minimal accessories for a less Barbie and more chic look. I also kept the outfit fuss free with a casual pair of black flats.
I also recommend wearing Rose Gold jewellery or pairing Navy shoes with pink – two colours which match perfectly. And if you do wish to amp your look up, add a bright lipstick or eye shadow.
You better get used to it, pink has been predicted to be huge for AW 2015. It’s time to getting adding blush-hued patterns to your wardrobe.
*Apologies for the pasty white skin, this was on my first day in Marmaris.
