Ong-Oaj Pairam SS15 LFW – 12 September 2014
Rushing from the Busardi ‘AIR’ runway show in Mayfair we made our way to Holborn then onto Freemason’s Hall for the Ong-Oaj Pairam show. There was a slight delay as the show before had over run however we passed the time with passionfruit frozen yoghurt…thanks Snog!
Karl and I were lucky enough to be seated on the Frow. Seeing as this was our first LFW and only our second show I was VERY excited. But like the rest of the Frowers I tried my best to be patient and we didn’t check our goodie bags until we left…we’re learning!
I was very impressed by the collection and after seeing the Busardi show an hour earlier they both confirmed that pastels will not be going anywhere next season. The collection was laced with pastels and quirky experimental patterned pieces, very East meets West. The long flowing dresses were bursting with colour yet were delicate and elegant – pieces I would love to wear myself.
Ong-Oaj Pairam is a Thai-British designer who set up his own label in 2012 and had his first catwalk debut with his SS14 collection at Fashion Scout.
I can’t fault Katch PR for inviting us to view this beautiful collection, the staff were so helpful and friendly! Thank you guys! 🙂
