At first I wasn’t impressed with this mascara and just left it at the bottom of my make up bag.
It wasn’t until about a month ago I started using it again, which I do with a lot of mascaras, I started really liking it!
I find the mascara is quite dry, unlike some other mascaras like YSL which is very smudgy and ‘wet’.
The positive side of it being dry is it doesn’t smudge easily however sometimes I find it takes longer to get the desired length when the mascara is drier. I always find they don’t last as long either before they need replacing – but only time will tell with this mascara (I’m sorry I can’t touch upon this point!)
I think the mascara does create thick and long lashes yes, but I wouldn’t say it was fast. It took about 4-5 coats on each eye to get the look I wanted (as seen below). Although this is a mascara I would recommend, it does the job and it is long lasting without smudging and it gives a natural volumising look to the lashes which I love in a mascara.
Here are some photos to show how the mascara looks on!
Soap & Glory: Thick & Fast Mascara retails at £10.
This is the first Soap & Glory I’ve tried, after my pleasant experience I wouldn’t mind testing out a few more of their products as I have read good things! The body firming cream and serum appeal to me most, but I can’t see how a cream or serum can make a difference!?
(just about to blink from the flash!)
