Brunch at Bodean's Old Street

I'm a huge fan of Bodean's, so I was really excited to try out their new brunch menu.

Bodean's Old Street has introduced a new weekend Brunch-B-Que with bottomless Bloody Mary's or Prosecco Bellini aka my idea of heaven.

We headed over to the Old Street restaurant (which opened last year) to try out the new brunch which is exclusive to this branch.

Little did I know that we were about to have the best brunch I have ever had. You can have brunch for £10.50, bottomless Bloody Mary or Prosecco Bellini for £15 or both for £19.50, so we went for the latter.

As we waited we sipped on our bottomless prosecco bellinis which were constantly topped up during our 2 hour seating.

We were warned that the brunch was very big so decided to just go for tortilla chips to share to start but this was a mistake. I highly recommend going very hungry as the brunch was HUGE. We probably could have shared one between us instead of one each!

Bodean's brunch is a full Kansas City smoke-up which includes Bodean’s Burnt Ends topped with perfectly poached eggs and homemade Hollandaise Sauce, alongside Texas-smoked Beef Sausage with just a subtle kick of chilli, Oak-smoked Bacon and seasoned Home Fries.

Here's some food porn for you (be prepared for major food envy).

For bottomless Prosecco bellinis and a brunch of this size, £19.50 is such a bargain! The bacon was the crispest, juiciest and smokiest I had ever tasted (home cooked bacon will just never do after this). Also after trying Bodean's burnt ends, there is no going back. These were demolished in seconds, my thighs were screaming at me to stop but I just could not resist.

After our visit I couldn't eat for the rest of the day, this brunch is one hell of a feast. I was disappointed in myself that I only managed about half but not to worry, you are offered the opportunity to take the rest away with you.

Brunch is served from 11.30am until 4pm on  Saturdays and Sundays.
