GIVEAWAY: Taking Care of your Clothes

Winter styling plus giveaway!

Shirt - H&M
Boots - Topshop

Although not the most suitable of outfits for winter, I'm all about layering this season and my signature knee high boots. Baggy shirts are so cosy in winter paired with a knitted jumper, perfect for those lazy days. This shirt can be worn as a dress as I have here or with jeans/leggings for a more casual look.

Winter is the perfect time for fashion as it gives you a chance to experiment a lot more and mix and match different looks. For example add a patterned jumper over a patterned shirt for that colour clash and 'geek-chic' style. Also layering is the best way to go if you want to turn an outfit from day to night!

Keeping your outfit looking fresh is all about how you take care of them. LG recently ran a poll which showed that 99% of Brits were unable to identify the common garment care symbols. By not understanding how to care for our clothes this can result in billions of pounds in damage to our wardrobes every year!

LG wants to put garment care back on the agenda so teamed up with artist Ben Allen to give the garment symbols a makeover. I recently attended LG's #LookGood event in association with Ben Allen at The Hospital Club where we got to have a glimpse of Ben's stunning artwork. You can read about it here.
