Foodie Ways to Celebrate Wimbledon

More foodie than sporty? Don't worry you can still get into the Wimbledon spirit.

I've never been very active. I'd choose scoffing my face over playing or watching any kind of sport any day. So although I'm not a big fan of tennis it doesn't mean I can't join in the Wimbledon celebrations.

Here are a few Wimbledon themed foodie happenings in the capital.

Bubbleology

Bubbleology has 24 tea flavour varieties (my favourite is the honey dew!) and have launched a very British Strawberries and Cream bubble tea for Wimbledon.

You can visit their shops in Knightsbridge, Notting Hill, Westfield Stratford, South Kensington, Topshop Oxford Circus, Bluewater and Angel. I know where I will be heading tomorrow lunch time!

The teas come in sizes Regular (500ml) priced at £3.45 and Large (700ml) priced at £3.75, charging 50p for extra toppings.

Foxcroft & Ginger

Artisan bakers, coffee makers and Cruffin creators Foxcroft & Ginger will be selling tennis ball cake pops during the Wimbledon Semi-Finals and Finals for £2.50 each. I recently tried one of the lemon and coconut macaroon cake pops and they are absolutely DELISH.

Foxcroft & Ginger is located in Soho, Whitechapel and now Dalston!

The Parlour

The Parlour (which I recently reviewed here) has launched a special Strawberry Fields cocktail (£8.50) for Wimbledon. The summery treat contains Hennessy cognac shaken with strawberries, sweet gomme syrup and dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters.
The Landmark

For a very British themed treat, The Landmark has developed a Wimbledon Afternoon Tea which includes sweet delights such as strawberry cheesecake and Pimm’s infused jelly with mint. Priced at £45pp the Afternoon Tea is available until 12 July 2015.
